Lower Carbon Footprint
An important property for asphalt is that it must be recyclable – without producing emissions during the recycling process. Asphalt+ has good recyclability, while also reducing greenhouse gas emissions, acidification and cumulative energy demand.
Reduced Emissions
No emission of N-nitrosamines was detected, and the emission of volatile and semi-volatile compounds was lower for Asphalt+ modified asphalt compared to conventional polymer-modified asphalt (PMB).
Minimized Waste
By using recycled rubber from worn-out tyres, Asphalt+ reduces the need for new rubber production and secures new life for a discarded material, hence contributing to a cleaner, greener future.
